Clare has over three decades of nursing experience covering many facets of nursing in medical, surgical, midwifery and administrative roles both in Queensland and Victoria. Clare formed and operated a successful laser business on the Sunshine Coast for several years before returning to the Gold Coast in 2005.
Clare’s role at Advanced Aesthetics encompasses both pre and post-operative education and care of patients particularly during the recovery process. She is also responsible for detailing all aspects of surgical and nonsurgical procedures, as one of the patient’s initial contacts with the clinic, she ensures the patient’s journey is comfortable and reassuring.
As a cosmetic injector, providing facial balance and symmetry with a natural looking result is important to Clare. Laser and light therapy treatments including tattoo removal are also treatments offered.
“Knowing the patient is well informed allows him or her to make decisions with comfort and confidence and, ultimately, happy patients, mean happy staff. The positive feedback we receive reinforces this,” Clare says.
Clare lives on the Gold Coast, and has two adult children, one of whom, Catherine, also works at Advanced Aesthetics.
Specialising in laser and injectable treatments, Mary-Ellen has worked in all areas of nursing, with the past 10 years in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. “At Advanced Aesthetics my role is to consult, assess, and formulate a treatment plan to best serve the clients skin and aesthetic concerns,” Mary-Ellen says.
“Then treat those concerns with the many tools and technologies available to me; laser, injectables, PRP, skin care, skin needling, peels and microdermabrasion. The most rewarding part of the job is seeing clients become more confident in themselves after treating their skin concerns and returning for other treatments or referring their friends and family.
“I listen to what the client considers their concerns to be and always look to address these first. I am honest about what I can and cannot achieve.
“I work with a wonderful team here; it’s like spending the day with my friends. There is a lot of laughter and we all work to help one another out.
“We also work with the latest technologies. Dr Dilip ensures our knowledge is current and we have ongoing training. We attend workshops, conferences and information evenings to keep up with changes and trends in the industry.”

“My aim is always to provide exceptional post-operative wound care management; to share my knowledge and education with patients so they may receive the best results; and to be compassionate and understanding to all patients,” Kerrie says.
“I am also enjoying increasing my role in dermal therapies and really enjoy performing Skin Needling, Emerge Laser Therapy, Vasculyse and Microdermabrasions.”
Kerrie is married with two beautiful children, and enjoys spending time with family, keeping fit, gardening, and shopping.
