Breast Enlargement
Breast augmentation involves inserting implants to enlarge the size of breasts.
Breast Reduction
The weight of large breasts can impact a woman’s shoulders, neck, and back, causing pain and discomfort. Breast reduction is designed to reduce the size of breasts.
Breast Correction
Dr Gahankari offers breast correction procedures designed to address a range of breast issues.
Breast Reconstruction
After a full or partial mastectomy, a breast reconstruction can be performed. This procedure can be performed at the time of the mastectomy or many years later, depending on the patient’s individual circumstances.
Nipple Repair
Nipple repair surgery is designed to address issues with nipples such as inverted, or enlarged nipples.
Tummy Tuck
For many women, no amount of dieting and exercise can address excess fat or skin in the tummy and waistline area. Un-affectionately known as a spare tyre, loose skin, fat deposits and lower tummy bulges are often developed after childbirth or weight loss. This excess skin and fat can cause a range of issues for some individuals, both physically and psychologically. Learn MoreBody Lift
While losing weight has many health and wellbeing benefits, many people are left unhappy with the resulting excess and sagging skin. This sagging skin is often accompanied by fat deposits and cellulite. The common areas that these deposits occur are the mid-section, lower torso and upper legs, including the abdomen, waist, inner/outer thighs, buttocks, and/or the hips. Learn MoreFacelift
Most of us have been exposed to the environmental elements, such as too much sun, dry air and the occasional stress in our lives. Combined with genetic factors, all of these factors can affect the delicate skin on our face and neckline. With the latest modern surgical techniques, a facelift (Rhytidectomy) can restore a fresh, more youthful look. Learn MoreEyebrow Lift
Often the earliest signs of ageing begin with a wrinkled forehead and sagging eyebrows, producing a tired and worried look. These changes can be the result of genetics as well as ageing. An eyebrow lift will improve the position of the eyelids and the overall appearance of the face. Brow lifts not only raise and reshape the eyebrows, but also tighten the skin on the forehead, removing “frown lines” and the vertical lines between the eyebrows. Learn MoreFacial Implants
Facial implants are used to improve and enhance facial contours. They can be ideal for people who may have a recessed or small chin or for those with hollow cheeks due to genetics or ageing. These procedures can create a more defined, sculptured facial profile, especially if the jaw, chin, or cheeks are lacking definition. Learn MoreEyelid
The most visible signs of ageing typically take place on our face, most notably, around the eyes. Many men and women say the signs of facial ageing can impact on both their personal and professional lives. Dark circles or bags under the eyes, excessive skin or wrinkles surrounding the eyelids can create a tired appearance. While these all occur as a part of ageing process, they can be particularly prominent in males. Learn MoreEar Surgery
Ears that stick out from the side of the head are common, but can often be a source of teasing and ridicule for children at school. This can have a devastating effect on the child involved. Otoplasty is most often performed on children aged six years and older and on adults. Learn MoreRhinoplasty
The size, shape and proportion of the nose has a dramatic impact on the overall aesthetic of a person’s face. Many people are unhappy with the look of their nose and seek out the popular rhinoplasty procedure to bring a more pleasingly, proportional nose to the face. For instance, a rhinoplasty can improve facial features by reducing the size of the nose. The procedure can also correct any damage incurred from an injury, or treat nasal deformities present from birth. Additionally, nose surgery is often requested to address other non-cosmetic issues, such as breathing difficulties. Learn MoreGrafting
The loss of facial and body skin elasticity, combined with lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, can result in sagging skin, breasts or buttocks, excessive facial wrinkles, deep creases or forehead furrows, crow’s feet around the eyes, and vertical frown lines between your eyebrows that can result in an angry appearance. A fat grafting procedure can transfer fat from body areas with excessive fat, such as the outer thighs, and inject it into areas that may be lacking in volume. Learn MoreInjectables
As we age, a reduction in skin hyaluronans, collagen and elastin causes the skin to lose its elasticity. Combined with lifestyle factors such as exposure to the sun and toxins, and repeated facial movements can result in excessive wrinkles, deep creases in your forehead, crow’s feet around your eyes, and vertical frown lines between your eyebrows. Anti-wrinkle injectables can reduce – or even eliminate these, while dermal fillers may also be suitable. Our experienced team of registered nurses on the Gold Coast specialise in both anti-wrinkle and dermal filler injections. Learn MoreNeck Lift
Our face and neck can become especially susceptible to visibly sagging skin, a loosening of the muscles and excess fat. A loose “turkey” neck can also be caused by the loss of excessive weight or genetics. An overly aged neck can make us look older than we feel, with sun exposure and gravity also creating deep creases, folds and furthered loose skin. A neck lift can be effective in restoring a more youthful appearance to the neck and the entire lower face area. Learn MoreReconstructive

Learn MoreSkin Cancer / Melanoma
Almost all skin cancer treatment requires the removal of the affected skin. This procedure is usually performed under local anaesthetic and in most cases, stitches are used to close the wound, leaving a straight-line scar. However, for certain areas of the body or larger cancers, a skin graft may be necessary. Depending on the type of skin cancer, we also offer topical treatments (creams), photodynamic (cream followed by intense red light) and laser therapy. We also treat other sun-induced skin issues, such as sun spots, increased pigmentation and prominent capillaries and wrinkles. Learn MoreAll Male Procedures

While almost every woman who has experienced childbirth report it is as one of the most rewarding events in their life. However both pregnancy and childbirth can take their physical toll on the female body and for many women, no amount of dieting and exercise can address excess fat or skin in the tummy and waistline area post-pregnancy. Surgical advancements mean that post pregnancy surgical procedures can be designed to give women back their pre-baby body, and in many cases, also correct issues that pre-date pregnancy. These surgical options can include breast enlargement, breast reduction, breast lift, liposuction and a tummy tuck.
